Dear ARLIS-ians,
Printed Matter's inaugural LA Art Book Fair will be taking place next weekend in LA, with over 220 exhibitors devoted to artist books and books on the arts, including a significant number of Antiquarian booksellers - and some fellow ARLIS members. We've exhibited at the New York version of this event for the past four years, and we are very excited it is finally coming to the west coast. Each year this event inspires me by reminding me of the breadth and vitality of the world of art books and zines, and how much interest there is - last year the fair drew nearly 20,000 attendees.
If you are planning to attend the fair, please visit us in Room J - I'd love to meet any fellow ARLIS members. We'll be exhibiting rare punk fanzine runs, artist periodicals, and artist books.
