If you’re planning to attend the 41st annual conference in Pasadena and you’re interested in mentoring, please consider applying to the 2013-14 ARLIS/NA Career Mentoring Program. Now in its 8th year, this yearlong program has matched dozens of art library professionals in successful mentoring pairs and has inspired a national virtual mentoring program.
Mentoring is a dynamic activity that enriches the experience of both parties and helps the Society to nurture its members. We especially encourage mid-career professionals to participate as mentees and mentors (you can do both!). Please note that attendance at the conference mentoring workshop on Friday, April 26, is mandatory for participants.
The application deadline is Monday, February 18. Notification of acceptance will be made by March 4th. For more information, contact the Mentoring Subcommittee at [log in to unmask].
