Random facts are sometimes helpful -- there are 19 million plus bicycles in use in the Netherlands (highest number in the world). I haven’t gone looking on the ‘net for you, but that might be a good geographic direction to go in when looking for an image of real bike shed. Every train station has them!

Subject: [ARLIS-L] bike shed
Dear Arlisans,
I wonder whether anyone can help me with a request for “an image of a true bike shed would you?! i.e. no design elements, as Pevsner intended!”. Apparently the schools in Glasgow where such things may have existed “have been ravaged”.
Many thanks,
Richard
