Hello everyone,

I am forwarding this announcement about an upcoming tour that will be offered by our Australian colleagues next summer in conjunction with the IFLA meeting in Singapore.  Membership in IFLA is not required and ARLIS/NA members are invited to participate.  It should be a unique opportunity for a wonderfully customized tour Down Under during the Australian winter.

Best wishes from a slowly recovering New York,

Deborah Kempe

President, ARLIS/NA

FYI

Dear Colleagues

At IFLA in Helsinki a number of you expressed interest in visiting Australia before attending the WLC in Singapore.

We have been busy creating an exciting itinerary which will shortly be up on the IFLA Art Libraries Section website.   I have included the itinerary below to ensure you have the dates as soon as possible. This study tour will give you a chance to visit Australia’s capital city (Canberra), Australia’s biggest city (Sydney) ,  and the warm and fascinating city of Darwin together with a visit to Aboriginal art centres on the nearby Tiwi Islands.

If you are interested please contact Joye Volker at  [log in to unmask]

Please note that numbers will be limited.

With warm regards

Joye
