Join Susan Beilby Magee, author of the newly released title, INTO THE LIGHT:The Healing Art of Kalman Aron, as she shares the life-lessons of a gifted artist who emerged from the ashes of the Holocaust to explore the nature of humankind and the mystery of life—all on canvas. A powerful, visual record unfolds of Aron’s remarkable journey from the darkness into the light. Magee shows the evolution of his art over five decades and reveals his answers to universal questions: What happens to the rage, sorrow and despair? Does one chose to remember, forgive, and heal? Healing himself through his art, Aron’s example offers hope to all who have suffered.

Author and mystic Susan Beilby Magee has spent two and a half decades practicing the healing arts as a certified hypnotherapist and meditation teacher. She founded the Washington Circle of Master Healers, participates in the healing ministry in the Washington National Cathedral and earned her BA at Pomona College and MBA at the Wharton School.

A reception will follow the presentation.
