Hi Heather,

At PNCA we built our own repository software from open source tools. It's
called Mimi, and supports most file types including sound and video. We
also have the thesis students (graduates and undergraduates) upload their
papers and supporting material (mostly documentation of the artwork and
presentations) into albums. I showed this software at the last ARLIS/NA
conference in Toronto. This repository is used for many other purposes such
as documentation of visiting artists, collections and events at PNCA and at
our museum, the Museum of Contemporary Craft. There's oral history,
archival photographs, and lots of student work. All of the files displayed
on our Web properties are actually stored in Mimi. The archive is open only
to the PNCA community. We're working on scanning and cataloging our theses
from the pre-digital age, but it will take some time to get these in as
they date back many decades.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Regards,
Dan
