Hello ARLIS/NA Members,

The ARLIS/NA-VRAF Summer Educational Institute (SEI) seeks an interested and qualified individual to fill the SEI Development Lead position. The Development Lead serves as an important member of the SEI Implementation Team. The position description is available below.

SEI IT Development Lead

The SEI IT Development Lead serves as the primary fund-raiser for the Institute.  This includes finding sources for both financial and in-kind support for SEI. The Development Lead communicates with the ARLIS/NA Development Committee and the VRAF Board of Directors to make certain SEI development goals are clear and supported by both organizations. Responsibilities include seeking prospects for SEI support from commercial vendors, organizations and individuals; proposing a travel award program funded and maintained by regional chapters of both ARLIS/NA and VRA to support their members’ attendance at SEI; maintaining a donor history; working with the VRAF treasurer to manage and acknowledge contributions; monitoring and requesting updates to the SEI sponsors page; and participating in SEI Implementation Team meetings.

Term:
The term will be for one year beginning in September 2012, renewable for up to three years.  The term will run from September 1 to August 31 of the following year.
