Hello Colleagues,

I am wondering how many of us are now working at instiutions that have gone to the embedded or liaison librarian model.  Please let me know if you re now working in that role.  I also have questions about it.

What is your institution?

How long has your position been embedded or as a liaison?

How have the faculty received your role as an embedded or liaison librarian?

What do you think of being an embedded or liaison librarian?

How similar is it to what you did in the past as an art librarian, especially in a departmental library on campus?

Does your institution have you using social media in your new role?  If so, what device and what media are you using to reach your users (other than chat reference and email)?

How has your role as a bibliographer changed as a result of being an embedded or liaison librarian?

How is your work as an embedded or liaison librarian measured or evaluated?

Are you willing to share a job description as an attachment?

Thanks so much for your help!
