The Catalogue Raisonné of the Drawings of Jasper Johns – New York
Summer Internship

The Catalogue Raisonné of the Drawings of Jasper Johns is looking for
a 2012 Summer intern for their New York office. This intern will have
a hands-on experience in preparing a catalogue raisonné of this

Foundation, this project seeks to catalog each drawing–dating from the

history. This will be the first definitive documentary record of
Johns’s drawings oeuvre and an invaluable resource for scholars,
historians, museums, galleries, auction houses -- and to others
interested in the artist’s work.

The Intern’s duties will include processing digital and physical
material, conducting outside research in New York libraries, museums,
and archives as well as contacting institutions for
exhibition/provenance information and literature.

Applicants should be detail oriented with excellent research and
organizational skills. Incoming seniors, recent graduates, or
Master’s/PhD students in an arts-related field are preferred for this
