Dear All,

works & conversations #24 [The Action of Light]  is now in print. Happy to offer a free copy to any librarian or potential subscriber who wants to see this magazine.
In this issue: Portfolios by Washington D.C. artist Rebecca Clark with an essay by artist Jane Rosen. Lyrical wildlife photos by Pixar's Trish Carney and work by Edith Hillinger with her reminiscences of growing up in Istanbul. Included is a remarkable interview with Joan Di Stefano about her visit to the Trappist's Gethsemani Abbey where she discovered a treasure trove of discarded stained glass windows from the 19th century.  Also included is Gail Enns' "Transcendental Vision" in Sand City and more. About this issue, San Francisco Art Institute's periodical librarian writes: "I really love the way the magazine keeps the focus-beam of the themes so openly/variously defined and regarded from such varying perspectives; yet there is a distinct unity that feels very organic and unforced. I’m so glad this periodical exists."
