Greetings ARLISians, You may recall that a year ago I retired from my art librarian job at the University of New Mexico, and then continued working on a 25% time one-year contract. That contract ends next week, at which point I will be 100% retired. I'm enjoying classes and long stints in the printmaking studio. Free tuition is a wonderful retirement benefit! My colleague Kathleen Keating, with whom I shared art librarian duties this past year, will take on all visual arts library responsibilities. She has worked at UNM for many years in various capacities. Kathleen is an artist and has an extensive background in studio art and art history. You may have met Kathleen at the registration table if you attended VRA in Albuquerque this spring. Her official title is Professor, Fine Arts & Design Library Team Leader. Kathleen has just joined ARLIS/NA, and is subscribed to ARLIS-L. Please join me in welcoming her to the fold. I'll continue on ARLIS-L for now, and hope to see you in Pasadena next year!
