Dear Colleagues, The Getty Research Institute is pleased to announce the Getty Research Portal™ Launch and Colloquium on Thursday, May 31, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Getty Center in Los Angeles. At this one-day colloquium, the Getty Research Institute (GRI) launches the Getty Research Portal™, a free online search platform providing global access to digitized art-historical texts. Speakers from leading international institutions will discuss the portal's potential to promote and facilitate research by widening access to publications in the public domain from libraries worldwide and the consequences for the Digital Humanities.
