A final reminder about the upcoming Art and Design School Libraries Division Meeting, Saturday 3/31, 1:30 - 2:30pm, at Conference Room C in the Sheraton Centre. See agenda below.

We still need someone to record minutes for this meeting. Please contact Deborah Evans-Cantrell or myself if you are interested in doing so.

Also - last call to let us know if you would like to be acknowledged for a presentation or other service at the ARLIS/NA conference, or have other news to share. We don't want to miss anyone. There may also be time for 1-2 more open discussion topics - if there is an interesting issue/concern/idea you'd like the group to discuss, send your suggestion to us!

Introductions and acknowledgements: (approx 10 - 15 mins)

• Welcome and pass around the attendee signup list
• Introduction of the current mods and vice mods, 2012 - 13
• Call for incoming vice mods (2013 - 14)
• Acknowledge ADSL member updates and service

Guest speakers (approx 20 - 25 mins)

• Gabrielle Reed of MASSart - ADSL survey (10 mins)
• Susan Severtson, Design Information Alliance - summary of recent projects (10 mins) (FYI Susan will also be presenting her work on Friday, 3/30, 5pm, Windsor East)
  

Open discussion topics (approx. 20 - 25 mins)

• What are some of the ways you’ve collaborated with students / harnessed their creativity this year?
• MFA and other graduate students, especially those working on theses / final projects - how are we serving them (outreach, instruction, etc.)?
• How do you manage back issues of design annuals/awards books? (Examples: One Show, Graphis Annuals, Directory of Illustration, International Design Yearbook, etc.)
  
• Experiences with selecting / managing ‘professional’ databases & e-resources, whose primary audience is individuals or businesses, not colleges/universities
