Dear Ato--

I'm not sure how robust of a library system you want but you might try LibraryThing. It is good for a catalog but may not do some of the management things you'd need, like circulation or acquisitions. http://www.librarything.com

Do you know about the Centre for Contemporary Art in Lagos? They have a 3000-volume library. The director was here for an artist's talk and was inspiring. The information page about their library is at http://ccalagos.org/index.php?page=about-the-library

Dear ARLIS-L,

I am in charge of a small art library in Nairobi, Kenya, which we are hoping to expand. I would like to know what the best software available is and generally any advice anyone may be able to offer.

Kind regards,

Ato
