There's a student asking for help in identifying artists, and especially photographers, who might be considered "neo-symbolists."

She's intuiting that there could be some, although we didn't find the use of the term neo-symbolism to be very well established in visual arts journal literature, and its use seems limited -- and informal -- at this point.

Does anyone have ideas for visual artists in any media, or photographers, for whom this term might apply?
