improving media annotation with open sourced anthologies, linked open data, semantics, machines and crowd sourced human computation. Session topics include embedded metadata, fair use, and the popular “Engaging New Technologies” series. The
closing speaker will be Amy Herman, founder of “The Art of Perception”, who teaches observation and communication skills through analysis of works of art.
