Here it comes: the 2012 Contemporary Artists' Books Conference, September 28 and 29 at PS1 in Long Island City, Queens.

The conference is part of Printed Matter's inimitable New York Art Book Fair at PS1, September 28-30.

Possible session topics include appropriation, installation, and the subtleties of cataloging. An edition is also in the works.

As usual, the conference features a keynote speaker, sessions on criticism and pedagogy, as well as a "pecha kucha," or lightning round.

And it's free! In the new PS1 Performance Dome!

Details to come.
