CDR-1293: SR Set: Masterpieces of Islamic Art
The opening of the new wing in the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Art in the Arab Lands, Turkey, Iran, Central Asia and Later South Asia highlights and details the evolving culture of Islam, practiced today by large numbers of the population. Our image set follows the outlines and images used in the Museum Catalog and expands on the art and architecture of these lands with holdings from museums in Paris and St.Petersburg, among others, as well as prominent sites.
