Please join us for our fall meeting at the San Francisco Public Main Library
on Friday, November 4, 2011. We will meet at 9:30 am in the Latino/Hispanic
Meeting room for Coffee and refreshments. After our business meeting and
discussions, we will be treated to tours of library's collections and
history center. Following lunch at the Off the Grid food truck market in
Civic center Plaza, join us for a tour of the Electric Works Gallery
 . Also a fine arts
press, the gallery will show us some of their artists books from their
archives.

Instructions for entering the building

The SFPL Main Library
is closed to the public until noon on Fridays. For staff and
special guests entering before noon, the only open entrance is the Grove
Street entrance. Library Security will greet you. Please tell them you are
with the ARLIS group meeting in Latino/Hispanic. Room A (located the level
below the first floor). To access the lower level, use either the stairs to
the right of the entrance or the elevator to the left of the entrance.

Maps and Parking Information

I suggest taking public transportation. Civic Center
  is the closest BART station.
Exit at the stairs to Market and Grove Street. Street parking is rather
scarce limited to 1-hour metered parking spaces around the Main Library.
