Deadline extended! Don't be shy.
Call for Presenters: “Lightning Chat” on Emerging Technologies
December 2, 2011, 11 am Pacific – 12 pm Mountain – 1 pm Central – 2 pm Eastern
Do
you have a new tool you’re really excited about? Have you been using a
new technology in an interesting way? We want to hear from you!
For our last chat of 2011, the Education Subcommittee is looking for
presenters to share emerging technology success stories (big and
small!) in a lightning talk format. Eight presenters will have five
minutes each to introduce how they’ve been using a new technology. This
smorgasbord chat will be informal, fast-paced and fun – an easy,
low-stakes way to share your successes and introduce your colleagues to
new tools!
Interested in presenting? Please email [log in to unmask]
by Monday, November 21 and tell us what technology you’d like to chat
about. Examples of emerging technologies used in a range of library
contexts are welcome.
We look forward to hearing from you!
