The U.S. Copyright Office has issued a paper outlining its priorities over the next two years regarding copyright policy and administrative practice, and announcing several new projects designed to improve the quality and efficiency of its services (Executive Summary, p.1).

 

Among the issues included are orphan works (p. 7) and further discussions on current copyright exceptions for libraries (p. 8)

following the Section 108 Study Group report of 2008. The report examined expanding the exceptions to include museums.
