Hello Ray Anne!

Off the top of my head...

In regards to zines and minicomics, John Porcellino's "King Cat" comics are
a great example. The original minicomics are difficult to find, but a
collection was reprinted by Drawn & Quarterly:

Adrian Tomine's "Optic Nerve" comic also started as a minicomic; similar to
Porcellino, the originals are going to be hard to track down, but they've
also been reprinted.

Barnard College also has an impressive zine library and does some limited
interlibrary lending. Jenna Freedman's put together really great resources
on starting zine collections and how to find materials. (

Hope this is helpful!

Stephanie Grimm
