Hi all,
Hi all,There is now a download option for all who would like a hard copy of the Copyright Practicum by Nancy Sims. Click on this link - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6574607/Copyright_Practicum.zipWait patiently till the file is fully downloaded (it is just under 300MB in size). Then unzip it. Inside you will see six files/folders. Double click on player.html and it will open up in your browser and start playing. This was recorded using MediaSite, so it is a combination of images, video and helper files. You can safely ignore all the other files but don't delete them.If you want/need a transferable copy, simply burn all the files to a CD or put them on a flash drive. It only needs a browser to play, so no internet connection is needed. Please let me know if you have any issues with the download. I will NOT be mailing any CD/DVDs unless you simply can't get this to work. I will leave the zip file up until the end of the year.Take care,RebeccaOn Fri, Oct 7, 2011 at 9:56 AM, Rebecca Moss <[log in to unmask]> wrote:
Hello all,On the last day of the Minneapolis joint conference, Nancy Sims led a copyright practicum that we recorded. More information about it can be found here - http://vraarlis11.sched.org/event/0fb0f49d2bef0ecb9fec981181530824The idea was for the recordings to be made available to ARLIS/NA and VRA Chapters to share with their membership. At present, the practicum is still available online here - http://z.umn.edu/practicum but there are no guarantees it will be there forever. I can create copies of the DVD and distribute them on request once the recording is no longer online.I apologize for taking so long to make this available to you all, but the information should still be very relevant and timely so please take a look, plan a viewing, or let me know if you would like a copy made for your group.Take care,Rebecca--
