We send our artists’ books to our Preservation Dept in the library system and they used to make gorgeous clam shells for each one. But their budget was cut, so now they put them in a type of corrugated box that is acid free. Ray Anne

Subject: [ARLIS-L] Archival boxes for artists' books
Dear ARLIS Colleagues,
Our library stores the majority of its artists' books in archival boxes purchased from Demco library supplies. They're described as pamphlet storage boxes, have metal edges and flip tops, and are light grey and measuring 11.5 inches high x 9 wide x 4.5 deep. I ordered fifty of them five years ago & now find that Demco no longer carries this model. I've looked at the usual vendors: Light Impressions, Gaylord, Brodart, Hollinger, & Archival Products, but can't find a match. Does anyone have another resource to recommend?
