Hi fellow ARLIS members,
I recently began a job working at the small special library within the Toronto office of Lord Cultural Resources, a consulting firm that works with museums and other cultural institutions worldwide to provide support for exhibitions, event planning, strategic planning, project management, etc. The librarian is interested in implementing an integrated library system - one that enables more complete and informative cataloguing records than the current Microsoft Access database, and also one that allows for/is compatible with image management.
Can anyone recommend any integrated library systems that would meet these requirements? Because of the small size of the library and its budget, something cost effective is also an important consideration.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
