Please consider submitting a conference proposal describing collection development strategies that respond to more globally diverse interests, such as: - Islamic Arts - East Asian Arts (People's Republic of China, Taiwan, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, and Mongolia) - South Asian Arts (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, Afghanistan, Iran, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Tibet) - South-East Asian Arts (Cambodia, Laos, Burma/Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Peninsular Malaysia, Brunei, East Malaysia, East Timor, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Singapore) - Black Canadian Arts (Caribbean Canadian and African Canadian) - North American Indigenous/Aboriginal Arts (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) Paper and workshop ideas are being accepted until May 31, 2011.
