Subject: [archives] Used Spacesaver Shelving Donation Available

Colleagues:I was contacted recently by Jim Casper of The Casper Corporation in Farmington Hills, Michigan, a major archives/library shelving supplier, to help him find a new home for equipment being replaced by one of his clients. The system is a Spacesaver Electric System with ZFS safety features. The client is offering the “used” systems free of charge. The estimated present day value of the available systems is approximately $600,000.00. All or a portion of the systems are available for donation. The systems are in excellent working condition. The shelves are 15" deep (30" double-loaded).
A plan view is available from Mr. Casper (the listserv will not allow an attachment) and all the shelving pictured is available except System 1, 2, 9, 12, 13, and 14 which are not part of the donation.
