The Art and Picture Collections at Mid-Manhattan Library present I See Now a site specific exhibition of sculptural collages by artist Josette Urso. These collages are the result of Urso’s ongoing investigation into the complexities of contemporary human experience and the intricate processes and cycles of life. This work blurs the boundaries between the natural, the artificial and the technological while challenging viewers to join the artist’s constant state of searching. Mary Birmingham, curator at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, will join Urso for an Artist Dialogue on Saturday May 14 at 2:30 p.m. on the 6th Floor. The exhibition series Art in the Windows is curated by Arezoo Moseni.
