Printed Matter is pleased to announce a special offering of over 50 items by Swiss artist Warja Lavater, exclusively from the estate of Tony Zwicker. The collection includes rare and small-run artists’ books, as well as original drawings, posters, prototypes and related ephemera These remarkable bookworks are highly colorful and span a range of mediums and material. The offering includes many of Warja’s better-known early leporellos, which retell classic fairy tales in symbols. This offering is available only for the duration of the exhibition at Printed Matter, through May 28, 2011.
