Registration has opened for the 2011 Summer Educational Institute for Visual Resources and Image Management (SEI 2011), a joint initiative of the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) and the Visual Resources Association Foundation (VRAF). 

SEI 2011 will be held at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque from June 7 to June 10, 2011.  Expert instructors will cover intellectual property rights, digital imaging, metadata and cataloguing, the application of social and new media in visual resources, the product environment, strategic planning, professional development, and future directions for the profession. For the first time since the creation of SEI, certain modules will be tracked into sections that reflect the self-identified skill level of the participants. We are seeking sponsors for SEI 2011. All levels of sponsorship are welcome. Many opportunities for named sponsorship at various levels are available, including faculty/instructor support ($250 and up), a reception ($750 and up), and breaks ($125-$250).
