Looking for help managing and communicating with your Millennial student employees? Then consider attending the From Millennial to Employee Workshop at the upcoming VRA + ARLIS/NA conference.

This fast-paced, highly interactive workshop will focus on strategies for developing and retaining quality student staff, methods of communication and motivation, and the rewards and challenges of working with student employees.

 Workshop topics include:

·         A profile of today’s student/Who is the Millennial?

·         Managing a diverse student workforce

·         Effective Communication and Outreach for Millennial Employees

·         Fostering transferrable skills in student employees

Workshop organizers will provide ample time for workshop attendees to share ideas for identifying/recruiting quality student employees and examples of training materials, as well as discussion time for topics of concern to those who supervise Millennial employees.
