Saturday, February 26 10am-4pm Study Day: Russian Silver in America: Surviving the Melting Pot Hillwood's curator emeritus Anne Odom's new volume, Russian Silver in America: Surviving the Melting Pot, surveys Russian silver production, its changing forms, styles, imagery and techniques over more than 250 years and its impact on American collectors. This study day draws on research into the collections at Hillwood, The Walters Art Museum, The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
