Dear Colleagues,
I am trying to locate information on an artist who created dental cartoons in the possession of the National Library of Medicine. The NLM has minimal information regarding them. The patron I am assisting was told
the cartoons were by O. Elkan, a World War II era French artist, however I have found no information regarding an artist by that name in the BN catalog, nor an any other resource. The cartoons are silhouettes of animals and humans undergoing dental services
and appear to date before WWII, perhaps the inter-war years. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Please respond to
