Questions for libraries with multiple entrances

Hi ARLIS Listserv,

I'm currently the Visual Resources Curator for the Art Institute of Boston's library. We're currently in process of planning a move to a new building and we're still in the designing phase. So far, the plan for the library is to have multiple entrances.

I have a few questions for any libraries who have two or more entrances. What is the patron flow like? Do you use some entrances as exit only? What type of security is in place? Are there security gates in each entrance? Do you close entrances after a certain time?
