LISTSERV 16.5 - ARLIS-L Archives
I am an intern in a university archive doing a project with artifacts/realia (three-dimensional, manmade objects). I am having difficulties locating journal articles or professional books devoted to artifacts in libraries and archives. I am wondering if anyone has suggestions for specific articles, books, or authors I should read, or specific academic or professional journals to peruse. I have tried a few, like American Archivist, and have not been able to find much, no matter which search term I use. Specifically, I am interested in how libraries and archives arrange, describe, and preserve their collections of artifacts. Articles on exhibiting artifacts by libraries and archives would also be useful, though I've found more of those on my own.
