Dear Colleagues, The full CC:DA Report from this year's ALA Midwinter conference has been posted on Sherman Clarke's artcataloging.net site: http://artcataloging.net/alagen.html (direct: http://artcataloging.net/ala/mw11/ccdalipcan.html). In brief: Now that RDA has been published, CC:DA is beginning to consider RDA revision proposals. Two task forces were formed in 2010 and these TFs presented preliminary oral reports on: 1. RDA Instructions for Heads of State and Heads of Government 2. RDA Instructions for Governmental and Non-Governmental Corporate Bodies. In addition, the American Association of Law Libraries presented two revision proposals for discussion: 1. On RDA 16.2.2.9, Places in certain federations 2. On RDA 6.29.1.21, Reports of one court CC:DA also heard reports from the Library of Congress Representative, the ALA Representative to the Joint Steering Committee, the ALCTS/CCS Task Forces on RDA Training and RDA Programming, the MARBI Representative, the LITA representative, the CC:DA Webmaster, and from Troy Linker of ALA Publishing Services. Many thanks are due to Elizabeth Lilker, Sherman Clarke and Daniel Starr for helping to make the CC:DA liaison baton-passing from Elizabeth to me as painless as possible.
