Hi
Mary,
The
Bridgeman Art Library is not a traditional “library” but rather an image
database provider and image licensing archive; however I’m happy to chat with
you if we can find a time to suit us both.
Please contact me off list if you are interested.
Kind
regards,
Wendy

Subject: [ARLIS-L] Library Visit
in NYC
Hello friends on Arlis,
I am starting my Master's in Library & Information Science here in New York
City. One of our assignments is to visit a library or archive and briefly
meet with a staff member and conduct a short interview.
I have contacted Franklin Furnace, Robert Wilson Foundation, the DIA and the
Guggenheim with no luck in terms of response. I am concentrating on
performance art archives but would be open really to any sort of art library.
I thought I would write this list and see if there was anyone who could kindly
recommend me or write and let me know if they know of an art library that may
give me 20 minutes of their time?
I really appreciate any thoughts or suggestions! Also, I love this list
and am glad to be a part of it.
Many many thanks,
Mary Kidd
