Guided tour of the Contemporary Art Center (CAC). 5pm-5:45pm. Admission $7.50 p/adult. After the tour of the CAC, we'll go across the street to dine at Nada <http://www.eatdrinknada.com/main.html>  (6pm- ). We'll be ordering off the menu. Each attendee is responsible for the cost of his or her own drinks and meal.

Morning events will take place at the Karl J. Schlachter Library for Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) located within the Aronoff Center for Design and Art.

9am-930am: Breakfast/coffee social

9:30am-9:45am: Welcome from Victoria Montavon, the Dean of UC Libraries

9:45am-10:45am: Raucous Roundtable  - Moderator: Jennifer Pollock, Head of the Karl J. Schlachter Library for Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning and Co-Chair of ARLIS/OV.

Topics will include:
1. New directions: Librarians' role as educators/instructors/co-teachers
2. Are we collaborating yet?
3. New Directions: Collections
4. Budget buzz (staff, collections, other)
5. New directions: Space & technology

10:45am-11am - Break/walk to meeting place for docent-led walking tour of UC architecture

11am-12:30pm

Wear or bring comfy clothing, an umbrella, and walking shoes!

12:30pm-2pm: Lunch at Blegen, home of the Classics Library, the College Conservatory Music Library, and the Archives and Rare Books Library. Lunch is included in registration fee. A full selection of sandwiches (vegetarian, fish, chicken, turkey, and meat) as well as salad, chips, cookies, and drinks will be catered by Panera <http://www.panerabread.com/pdf/viamenu.pdf> .

1-2pm: Lunch & Listen: A lunchtime conversation with UC faculty, students and Cincinnati Art Museum curators. Topic:  What I really want & need - services, collections, space, and technologies.

2pm-3pm: ARLIS/OV business meeting
3pm-3:15pm: Light refreshments and conversation
3:15pm-3:30pm: Classics Library tour
3:30pm: ARLIS/OV'ers get on the roads before rush hour traffic!

The University of Cincinnati is located very near I-75 in the Clifton neighborhood of Cincinnati. The Kingsgate Hotel <http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/cvgkg-kingsgate-marriott-conference-center-at-the-university-of-cincinnati/>  is very close to UC and while you could walk to and the main campus, there is a shuttle service to UC. Downtown Cincinnati is a short drive from UC. It's absolutely lovely and convenient as we'll be dining downtown on Thursday pm.
