Hello everyone, I'm publicizing an event which will occur in Los Angeles at LACMA in slightly over a week. Please join us on Monday, August 23rd, from 5 to 7pm to hear photographers Sharon Lockhart and James Welling together with curator and art librarian Lynda Bunting talk with 9 young artists who have created books as artworks. The wide-ranging discussion will focus on the function of photography in artist's books and experimental publications, as well as the distinction between the book as an artwork and the exhibition catalogue.
