International Mail Art Exhibition in Honor and Memory of Judith A. Hoffberg

This terrific exhibition opened June 27th, 2010 and will run through August 22, 2010 at the Armory
Center for the Arts, Pasadena. The show, as the name implies honors the memory of Judith Hoffberg,
an ARLIS/NA founding member, a great promoter mail art, artists books and artists in general.

The show elicited an amazing response: over 500 artists worldwide submitted works and over 700
art works were received. Take a few moments to enjoy this digital presentation of the exhibition at this website:

The works in the exhibition, with a few exceptions, will become part of the Judith Hoffberg Archive,
Special Collections, UCSB. The Library purchased Judith Hoffberg's archive, books and ephemera most
of which is housed in Special Collections and in the Arts Library.

For those in the Southern California region, the Armory Center for the Arts is in the heart of Old Pasadena
and is close to numerous restaurants and shows-- a great way to spend an afternoon. Here's a link to their site.
