WIENER WERKSTÄTTE 1903-1932

Hi

The July update of designinform will include detailed profiles of all the
artists, designers, architects and craftspeople who are known to have worked
for the Wiener Werkstätte between 1903-1932. The profiles will be
accompanied by an extensive bibliography and numerous Internet links. It
will be the first online biographical Œdictionary¹ in English on this highly
influential association and will be an invaluable resource for research on
Austrian and Central European design in the first three decades of the 20th
century.

We will be constantly updating the Œdictionary¹ and would be interested to
know of institutions that have significant Wiener Werkstätte collections.

The July update of designinform will also include a list of the c.2,500
individuals who are known to have studied at the Bauhaus between 1919-33.

All the best
