All, StoryCorps has teamed up with the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) to record oral histories about the 2010 winning institutions of the National Medal for Museum and Library Service, given out each year for outstanding community service. This is a good time to point out that the Indianapolis Museum of Art is one of this year's medal recipients. StoryCorps will be visiting Indianapolis June 23 to 25, to record recollections, thoughts, and well, stories about the museum. I hope some of those include the library!
