Hello everyone-

We are preparing to have selected members of our staff test our new OPAC. I’m not sure about methodology here- whether we will get the most useful feedback from having them explore the catalog as they would use it naturally, or give them some prescribed tasks to carry out and evaluate their success. Since this is our first automation system, we do not have data for comparison nor have we been through this process before. Can anyone speak from experience about the best way to conduct this phase of our catalog launch?

Thank you,

Sarah
