Error - unable to initiate communication with LISTSERV (errno=10061, phase=CONNECT, target=127.0.0.1:2306). The server is probably not started.
I would like to hear from ARLIS-L readers whose libraries pre-select titles for offsite storage, that is, designate a title for offsite storage when the order is placed. The Watson Library currently makes the offsite decision
after the item has been received.
~ How did you arrive at selection criteria for offsite titles?
~ What criteria did you come up with?
~ How do you apply the criteria without the item in hand?
~ What has been your experience with offsite pre-selection?
~ For those who also order titles with shelf-ready processing, do you send them directly to the offsite facility?
