The Legacy Oral History Program, housed in the Performing Arts Library at the Museum of Performance & Design, is accepting registrations for its sixteenth annual workshop. The workshop is appropriate for library and museum staff and those involved in social, institutional, regional or family history, anthropology and cultural studies. The lecture/discussion format, with opportunities to apply presented material, is designed to meet the needs of participants of all levels of experience in oral history.

Drawing on references and examples from the performing arts, the workshop covers:
    * legal and ethical issues,
    * project design,
    * funding,
    * audio and visual technology,
    * interviewing,
    * transcription
    * and editing to produce research-quality final products.
