ARLIS/NA and
the Visual Resources Association Foundation are pleased to announce that the
University of New Mexico will host the 2011 Summer Educational Institute for Visual
Resources and Image Management (SEI).
Last year the SEI
Advisory Group recommended that SEI be held at the same venue for two
consecutive years. By doing so, the SEI Implementation Team as well as the
hosting institution can take advantage of the work that is required to
establish the supporting SEI infrastructure for more than one year. Many thanks
to the University of New Mexico, SEI Local Chair Cindy Abel Morris, and her
colleague Nina Kay Stephenson, for hosting SEI this year. And thanks to
the University of New Mexico, the University Libraries, and the College of Fine
Arts for agreeing to host SEI again in 2011.
