A colleague in Brooklyn, Maddy Rosenberg, asked me to post the following information about a new magazine devoted to artists' books. Please contact her directly for more information.

CENTRAL
BOOKING Magazine,
like its parent gallery, provides a 360 degree view of artist’s books and their
integration into the larger art world.
Our premiere issue features an interview with the collaborative duo
Kahn/Selesnick. The Artist Project offers a preview of their latest work, Eisbergfreistadt, chronicling the
development of their "iceberg free state." Regular features also include
technique-based artist book tutorials, launched with the step-by-step guide to
cyanotype printing by Amy Holmes George; an ongoing feature of text excerpts
highlighting written elements from the gallery’s collection of artist’s books
that begins with Pamela Moore’s minimal translucent Incision; and Mindell Dubansky’s
discussion of book shaped pieces from her collection, the first of a series of
articles by noted collectors and curators. Other features include annotated
listings of ongoing book arts events, spaces and organizations; and projects
exclusive to the magazine by well-established and emerging artists
alike.
Found within each issue is also a catalog insert documenting Gallery II’s
thematic multi-disciplinary exhibitions. As well as photographs of the artwork
and gallery installation, the catalog affords further investigations of these
themes with articles addressing the interplay of art and science. March’s issue
focuses on Astronomy: The Celestial,
as the husband and wife team astronomer Greg Matloff and artist C. Bangs, both
boasting long-time involvements with NASA and collaborative work, approaches the
subject from their differing angles.
