Hello Colleagues,
We have recently acquired a copy of Harvey Stahl 's
"Picturing Kingship: History and Painting in the Psalter of Saint Louis",
Pennsylvania State University Press, 2008.
While perusing this volume I noticed that two pages
among the colored reproductions of the miniatures in the psalter are
blank, namely what should be "Folio 3v" and "Folio14r" . The legends
of those miniatures are: " The Dove Returns to Noah in the Ark" and "Jacob
Meets the Angels of God; He Wrestles with the Angel"according to pp.
218-219.
If any of you has access to this book could you
check if it is something lacking on purpose in this volume or
rather we received a defective copy?
