Dreyfous Library, New Orleans Museum of Art, City Park, 1 Collins Diboll Circle, New Orleans, LA 70124 for an open house and Exhibition walk-through. Admission to NOMA is free The Felix J. Dreyfous Library is an art research library located in the basement of the New Orleans Museum of Art. The library’s collection holds approximately 20,000 monographs, extensive artists’ files and 70 subscriptions to art related periodicals. At 6:00 p.m. Margaret Rose Vendryes, curator of NOMA’s current exhibition Beyond the Blues: Reflections of African America in the Fine Arts Collection of the Amistad Research Center, will lead a gallery walk-through, providing conference attendees with a unique opportunity to see part of the art collection of the Amistad Research Center (whose archives and art works document the African American Experience) that has never before been exhibited. Light refreshments and beverages will be available in the library from 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. Museum admission is free and you will receive a 10% discount on all museum shop purchases when you show your conference tags.
