Dear ARLIS members -

We invite your participation in Pratt-SILS London program –
there are still a few places left for what we think is a summer program 
of special interest
to art and museum librarians and LIS graduate students:

Pratt-SILS London 2010 Summer Program and Bloomsbury Conference with
University College London (UCL), Department of Information Studies (DIS) 
–
June 14 – 25 - two exciting weeks - this year's theme:

Libraries, Museums, Archives and Publishers: the Digital Future –

The program is designed for LIS graduate students and information 
professionals especially
those in art and museum librarianship.

Each day's schedule features lectures and visits – these includes  the 
British Library,
a day in Cambridge at Proquest, Cambridge University Press and Library -
a day in Oxford at Oxford University Press and the Bodleian Library -
and in London visits to scholarly publishers and information providers.

Distinguished UCL DIS faculty are the course instructors and guides.
Enjoy your weekend going to exhibitions at the London’s museums and 
enjoying the London's great theatre scene.

Housing is at Astor College on the UCL campus in Bloomsbury where you 
enjoy a single room with Internet access and English Breakfast.

The course culminates with Bloomsbury Conference, included in this 
exciting learning experience where leading research faculty, academic 
and museum librarians, archivists and publishers present on the latest 
developments in the field and what the future might look like.

The cost of the program is $3,710 (includes tuition, fees and housing – 
non Pratt students add a $50 application fee).

A 3-credit course, participants may choose to take the course for 
credit.
